Our Future Vision
At Acts 242 Christian Fellowship, we are thankful for the home God has provided for us at “The Barn.” It has been a blessing in this season, and we are grateful for every opportunity to gather, worship, fellowship, break bread, and pray together as a church family.
At the same time, we recognize the importance of having a dedicated and autonomous place of worship where our church body can continue to grow, serve, and minister for both the present generation and the generations to come. As a board of elders and as a body of believers, we believe God has given us a clear vision to serve the Hill Country and the surrounding community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Scripture reminds us, “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18). We also see the importance of writing the vision plainly: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it” (Habakkuk 2:2). With this in mind, we are seeking to be prayerful, diligent, and faithful stewards of what God has placed before us.
We have already identified a plot of land and have plans designed for the future home of Acts 242 Christian Fellowship. This vision is being pursued intentionally and in phases as we seek the Lord’s timing, provision, and direction. Our desire is not simply to build a facility, but to establish a place where the church can continue to worship, grow, disciple, serve, and live out the four pillars of Acts 2:42 for years to come.
We invite you to pray with us and saturate this vision in prayer. More than finances, we desire the Lord’s leading, wisdom, and provision. If God places it on your heart to give toward this vision, we welcome any amount with gratitude. Acts 242 Christian Fellowship is a 501(c)(3), and donations are tax-deductible.
We want to be faithful stewards of every resource God entrusts to us, remembering that “it is required of stewards that they be found faithful” (1 Corinthians 4:2). Thank you for praying for the vision God has placed in our hearts. We are excited for what He has called us to and where He is leading us as a church family.
God bless you and thank you for partnering with us in prayer.
